A shopkeeping idle simulation in which players gather items in dungeons, open a stall, set prices and sell goods, then spend their earnings on gear to return to the dungeons.

Stall Quest is a shopkeeping idle simulation game framed around the story of Rei, a boy whose monthly allowance of 1,000 yen is not enough to buy the monster-collecting game he sees advertised on television. After going to bed wishing he had more money, the game’s events unfold within his dream.

The core loop centres on gathering items in dungeons, opening a personal stall, setting prices and selling the collected goods. Money earned from sales can be spent at other players’ stalls to upgrade equipment before heading back into the dungeons. The developer describes the game as being aimed at people who used to leave their shops open unattended in old-school MMORPGs, and the stall system reflects that AFK-style approach to trading.

The game features 48 types of enemies and 30 types of items alongside the narrative about Rei’s dream. It has now been released and, at the time of writing, has nine user reviews on Steam.
