Stamperor! The Jester’s Decree

Stamperor! The Jester’s Decree is a decision-driven city builder in which the player takes on the role of a jester ruling an empire. Citizens arrive each cycle with requests, and rather than a simple yes or no, players apply stamps with unique effects to alter outcomes and create consequences that can ripple through the game.

The empire is built and maintained by managing five resources: Money, Food, Happiness, Security, and Population. Structures affect this balance, and proposals from citizens are unpredictable, requiring strategic thinking to avoid triggering collapse. Storylines evolve over the course of a run, featuring characters with distinct personalities who offer proposals or pose threats in varied ways.

The game includes random events that can disrupt a run at any time, meaning a single mistake or seemingly good decision can set off a chain reaction affecting the empire’s stability. Players can approach rule in different styles, from impulsive to cautious, tyrannical to foolish, with the outcome of each run shaped by the cumulative effect of their decisions.
