Starstone

Starstone is a competitive trading card game. Players battle for control of the field using creatures, spells and stealth traps. Creatures can be strengthened and evolved, and elemental Shards are gathered as part of play.

Creatures also have a role beyond attacking. They can be sent into the Mine to harvest resources that support the player’s wider strategy. The game describes its economy as similar to that of a real-time strategy game, where players can invest early for a long-term advantage or give up future growth to apply immediate pressure. Its resource system is designed to replace mulligans and resource dead draws with strategic choices.

A roguelike Adventure Mode is listed as coming soon, in which players build a deck, evolve their forces and progress through a changing journey. The game also includes lore with characters and mysteries to uncover. The developers state that new cards, modes, challenges and strategies are planned to be added season after season.
