Stella Supernova: The Astral Vale

Stella Supernova: The Astral Vale is a 2D action-platformer built around platforming, boss battles and interactive cinematics. Players control Stella, a young guardian of the stars who is searching for her missing mother. After finding an object connected to her mother, Stella sets out to explore the Astral Vale, a universe containing planets, stellar creatures, forgotten deities and secrets.

Gameplay involves jumping, dashing and avoiding traps across levels, with Stella’s powers used to make progress. The game combines platforming, action, exploration, powers, money, upgrades and precision challenges. Boss fights feature multiple phases and varied attacks, and require players to dodge, learn attack patterns and find openings to counterattack. Coins can be collected and spent in a shop, and a selection of mini-games offers further ways to earn them. New cosmic powers can also be unlocked.

The story is delivered through animated cinematics. During certain key scenes, quick-time events ask the player to react at the right moment, though the cinematics can be skipped. The game can be played alone or in local co-op with up to eight players on the same screen.
