Blue Sun Saga

Blue Sun Saga is set in the very far future, when the sun is in the final stage of its life and Earth has become a desert. Water is severely depleted and greenery is rare, and human settlements survive around the little vegetation that remains. The player controls an exile who was banished from home along with his family for a crime he is unsure any of them committed. After spending time alone, he accepts a mission that could restore life to the planet, which requires him to return to his past and learn the truth.

The game has eight levels, and each one ends with a boss fight. In every level the player must navigate the environment and find the exit while dealing with enemies and traps placed throughout. Combat is central to progress, and the game describes the need for tactical play to defeat opponents. Enemies become more dangerous as the player advances.

The game includes a map to assist with exploration, along with permanent upgrades that improve the character’s combat capabilities.
