Strange Days
Strange Days is a comedy-thriller adventure game that takes its visual and audio style from the Game Boy Color era. It uses retro pixel art environments and a chiptune soundtrack. The story follows more than one set of characters, and the game is available on Steam.
One storyline begins when Niko and Blaze are asked to deliver a mysterious package to a man in an abandoned factory, where they find out more than they expected. Another follows Detective Misterio and Aura, who go into a forest near the town of Triton to investigate rumours of UFO sightings and establish whether the aliens are real or a local legend. As the stories progress, the clues point towards a serious truth that the characters must uncover before it is too late.
Gameplay combines exploration, puzzle-solving and light detective mechanics, including interrogating witnesses. Players take on the roles of different characters, each with a distinct perspective on events. The game also includes side mini-games built into the world.
