Sublight

Sublight is a space combat game in which the player takes command of a stellar battleship and travels through a series of hostile sectors. Each sector contains enemy forces, which range from rogue rebel fleets to alien swarms, and the player must fight through them to progress.

Combat revolves around destroying enemies to salvage materials, which are then used to level up the ship. The player selects turrets from a pool that includes autocannons and railguns, and combines these with a range of passive upgrades to shape the ship’s build. Turret placement matters, as each weapon has its own firing arc that determines where it can engage targets.

The game features a number of unlockable ships, each with multiple alternative loadouts. Every hull has its own integrated weapon systems and abilities that alter how it is played. Additional ships, weapons and upgrades can be earned by completing in-game challenges.
