DEVIL’S WAY: BOHEMIAN

DEVIL’S WAY: BOHEMIAN is a dark comedy game set in a surreal dystopia governed by a malevolent AI. Players take on the role of James DUD, a down-and-out protagonist with no clear direction, who must survive by moving through a series of doors and corridors. Each door leads to a different scenario, and the game is built around the idea that no option is entirely safe.

The core mechanic is a series of A/B dilemmas presented by the AI. Alongside these decisions, the game includes real-time action segments where the player defends themselves using everyday objects, dodges sudden threats and navigates physical traps. Choices carry forward: certain decisions trigger persistent anomalies, unwanted companions or mechanical curses that remain for the rest of a run. Some rooms also rely on audio cues, requiring the player to listen carefully to their surroundings before moving on.

The game contains violence, profanity and frequent pop culture and internet culture references, presented in a satirical tone. The developer states that all references are fictional and not based on real people or events.
