The Rabbit Haul

The Rabbit Haul is a farming and tower defence game with roguelite progression. Players take the role of Sprout, a rabbit whose hometown has been damaged by a group of raccoons known as the Trash Panda Posse. Play is divided into a day and night cycle. During the day, Sprout grows crops, constructs defensive plant towers and arranges the garden in preparation for the coming night. When darkness falls, raccoons arrive in waves and attempt to steal the crops that have been grown.

Each raccoon type has its own behaviours and abilities, and the waves become more difficult as the days progress. To keep up, players can upgrade towers, explore the surrounding area to find stronger weapons, and make use of synergies between different plants. Runs also offer treasure, quests, upgrades and other characters who may help or hinder Sprout. When a run ends, Sprout returns home with whatever crops were saved. These harvests are used to restore shops, rebuild homes and unlock new characters, merchants and upgrades in the town. As the town is restored, additional systems and tools become available, and the challenges in later runs increase accordingly.

The game includes a range of crops, towers, weapons and upgrade paths, allowing different approaches to defending the farm, such as focusing on large numbers of plants or on combinations that work together. Cosmetic outfits for Sprout are unlocked by rebuilding the town and progressing through runs, and weapons can be matched to a chosen look.
