Run a toy shop in 1910s Salamanca, stitching together plushies and folklore in equal measure. It's a cosy crafting sim with a bit of myth and mystery stitched into every seam.

Toymaker: Threads of Joy drops you into Salamanca in the 1910s, a city caught between old traditions and new ideas. You’re running your own toy shop, which means picking materials, mixing patterns and colours, sewing pieces together and adding the little details that turn a pile of fabric into something someone will actually love. There’s no timer breathing down your neck either, so you can just potter about and get creative.

Customers will start coming to you with requests, and some will even try to haggle, so it’s worth paying attention to what they actually want. Treat people well and your reputation grows, word spreads, and you start unlocking little stories and mysteries tied to the people of Salamanca. Wander round the markets, squares, university and countryside as the game weaves in local folklore and a proper mythic storyline with two different paths to follow, each shaping what happens to the town and your shop’s legacy.

It’s all wrapped up in a lovely art nouveau look with genuinely adorable plushies and a soft piano soundtrack pulling from 1910s and Castilian folk music. Everything here was made by hand by the team too, no generative AI involved at any point.
