Train Sim World® 7

Train Sim World 7 is a train simulation game in which players drive a range of locomotives and multiple units across real-world inspired routes. The release introduces three new routes. Florida Tri-Rail covers Miami and Fort Lauderdale with the Tri-Rail BL36PH, F40PH and Rotem cars, plus CSX local freight and the Dura-Max Rock Hopper. The Airedale and Wharfedale Network is set in Yorkshire, England, and includes the Northern BR Class 331, the LNER Azuma, and the BR Class 66 with HYA Limestone Hoppers serving Rylstone quarry. Bahnstrecke Nürnberg – Würzburg in Bavaria features the DB BR 440, DB BR 442 and DB BR 193 Vectron. Deluxe Edition buyers additionally receive the Tri-Rail GP49H-3, the Northern BR Class 333 and the DB BR 412 ICE 4.

New features include Freight Hauler, a mode in which freight cars are placed around a route without instructions or schedules and the player decides how to switch, shunt and haul them to their destinations. Live Weather uses real-time, location-specific data to set in-game conditions. Safety systems such as AWS and PZB can now be enabled by default when entering a cab, and guards on applicable trains can open and close doors. On PC, the game runs on DirectX 12, adds an Epic graphics preset with extended draw distances and improved shadows, supports DLSS 4.5 with DLAA and upscaling, FSR 4 with upscaling and frame generation, and offers an Enhanced Lighting option for TOD4 routes.

Other modes include Free Roam, which allows any route to be explored with any owned train either alone or mixed in with the timetable, Conductor Mode, in which players check tickets and operate passenger doors on conductor-operated services, and Photo Mode and Route Hopping. The Creators Club offers a Livery Designer and Formation Designer, with creations usable in Free Roam and Scenario Planner or shareable online through a Dovetail Live account. The game is available in a Free Starter Edition with the Training Center, a Standard Edition with the three new routes, a Deluxe Edition adding the extra trains, and an Ultimate Edition adding a set of TSW Compatible content from earlier releases, which may not use all newer core features. The user interface is localised into English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Japanese, with add-on localisation varying by item.
