Ultrapool is a colourful roguelike where you build a wonky set of pool balls with wild effects and try to survive 10 rounds behind the bar.

Ultrapool takes pool and throws in a proper dose of chaos. Instead of a normal rack, you’re building a triangle of balls with strange abilities, think ghost balls that come back from the dead, chicken balls that lay smaller balls, or bombs that go off if you knock them about too much. Pocket balls, rack up score, earn cash, and spend it at the bar improving your weird collection.

It plays a bit like a pool flavoured mix of Balatro and Super Auto Pets. The pool part stays simple, just get the balls in the holes, but the fun comes from working out how your ball abilities combo together for silly high scores. Survive 10 rounds and you’re doing well.

Once you’ve got the basics down, the cocktail bar opens up, letting you ask the bartender to mix two balls into something new and often ridiculous. Some combos feel properly overpowered, and you’ll need that edge if you’re aiming to make it through a full night.
