Vinyl Freak: Unsorted

Vinyl Freak: Unsorted places you in the role of the new owner of a record store called Vinyl Freak, left to you by your late Aunt Jolie. The task is to get the shop ready for its grand re-opening by cleaning each room, unpacking every box and sorting the vinyl records inside. This involves exploring the rooms to find scattered records and empty sleeves, opening crates full of records to organise them, clearing away cobwebs and throwing out rubbish.

The layout of the store is left to the player. Boxes, shelves and decor can be moved and placed freely, and you decide where the sorted records should live. Sorting earns credits, which can be spent on upgrades such as Psychic and Vinyl Shuffle that speed up the work. These abilities can be combined, and earning more credits allows more sorting to be done in turn.

Alongside the tidying, the game includes a story thread about Aunt Jolie herself. Details of her personality are revealed as you work through the shop, and there are boba collectibles she left behind to find, along with hidden notes and old poems written by her most famous patrons.
