Voldark

Voldark is an open-world survival game set in a hostile forest wilderness. The player begins stranded and must gather resources, craft tools and weapons, and develop their character in order to stay alive.

A central mechanic is base building and defence. Each night, waves of mutant creatures attack the player’s base, and these waves become stronger as nights pass. Players can recruit tribe members, who fight alongside them and help defend the base during these attacks. Character progression and upgrades are also part of the game.

During the day, the player can explore the forest, which contains secrets, abandoned locations and loot. Scavenging and resource gathering support preparation for the escalating threat of the night. On Steam, the game has more than 10 user reviews and currently holds a Mixed rating.
