Voldark

Voldark is an open-world survival game in which the player is stranded in a hostile wilderness. Survival depends on gathering resources, crafting tools and weapons, and developing the character over time. The setting is a large forest containing abandoned locations, hidden secrets and loot to scavenge.

A central part of the game is base building and defence. Each night the base comes under attack from waves of mutant creatures, and these attacks become stronger as the nights go on. Players can recruit tribe members who fight alongside them and help hold the base during these incursions.

The game’s listed features include character progression and upgrades, exploration and resource gathering, and a forest populated by dangerous mutant creatures. Daytime is spent preparing for the growing threat that arrives after dark.
