WARDOGS

WARDOGS is a first-person shooter set in a modern military sandbox that supports matches of up to 100 players. Each match places three teams on a large map and tasks them with holding a randomly positioned 2x2km Control Zone. The team with the most players inside the zone accumulates points, and the first to reach 100 points wins. Because the zone location changes and player approaches vary, matches are not expected to follow a fixed pattern.

Every player begins with $10,000 and uses it to purchase a loadout at the start of each life, choosing from weapons, gear, utility items and vehicles. Cash is awarded for team actions such as reviving squadmates, transporting allies to the zone and holding the objective, and it carries over between matches. Players can pursue a Hot Zone for double earnings, buy a ghillie suit and snipe, ferry supplies by helicopter, build a forward operating base at a chokepoint, or operate an artillery tank. The game combines gunplay and combined arms combat with building and destruction mechanics, so structures such as apartment blocks can be demolished with rocket launchers or driven through in armoured tanks, while teams can also construct fortifications at key locations.

Local voice chat is included for communication with teammates and nearby enemies. The developer positions the game as a tactical variant of the all-out warfare shooter rather than a battle royale or extraction shooter. On Steam, WARDOGS has passed 10,000 user reviews and currently holds a Mostly Positive rating.
