Woodo

Woodo is a puzzle game built around wooden dioramas that the player puts together one piece at a time. The story follows Foxy and Ben the frog across a series of connected dioramas, with each scene depicting a different moment from an adventure the two share.

Objects are placed into their correct positions within each scene, and the pieces are designed to click into place in a way that resembles handling a physical toy. Assembly does not follow a fixed order: players rotate and look around the 3D space to find pieces that are hidden from view. As objects are added, the diorama gradually gains colour and animations play in response to each placement. The game adjusts to the player’s pace and offers help when needed, and the gameplay also shifts to suit the direction of the narration.

A narrator accompanies the player throughout, and the story draws on themes of childhood, time spent outdoors and the simple experiences that tend to fade with age. The cast includes a number of comic characters with light-hearted animations. On Steam, the game holds an Overwhelmingly Positive user review rating from more than 1,000 reviews.
