Carajito
Carajito is a roguelite in which each run begins with a roulette spin that determines how the player wins. The three possible victory conditions are reaching level 100, accumulating 500 kills, or surviving for 10 minutes. The game frames its premise around a mysterious entity referred to as Bastard, who greets the player with a disturbing message inside a nightmare. Runs are designed to be short, lasting no more than 20 minutes.
During a run, the player repels hordes of unusual enemies and levels up, which opens a card shop selling upgrades. Before anything is put up for sale, a die is rolled to decide the rarity tier of the shop’s contents, ranging from common items at low prices to legendary items with stronger effects and higher costs. The developer notes that saving currency is necessary to make use of the shop. There are more than 35 upgrades in total, covering weapons, pets and other enhancements.
Additional features include cursed cards and shady contracts, which offer cheaper power in exchange for hidden costs or risk, and a combo system that rewards chaining kills. The developer also states that something awaits players at the end of a run, without giving further details.
