Yule Dads

Yule Dads is a party game set in a shopping mall at Christmas. Players choose a dad character and ride a trolley through the mall, racing to secure the last gifts on the shelves before closing time. Up to 8 players can take part, and they can knock into rivals who get in the way.

Movement is built around tricks and grinding. Players can flip, spin and roll, use ramps and vents to get airborne, and perform moves with names such as Corkscrooge and Yule Log. Handrails, escalators and balconies can all be ground, with named grind tricks including the Rudolph Nosegrind, the Polar Express and Santa’s Lap. Players can jump between rails to maintain a combo, and drifting around corners builds a speed boost.

The game offers several modes. Party mode combines gift races across the mall with 13 minigames, including Snowball Fight, Hot Coal, Grind Gauntlet and Capture the Cane. In Man Flu, one player starts infected and everyone they touch joins them, with the last player uninfected winning. Free Ride has no rules or timer and can be played alone or with friends. Time Attack is a solo race against the clock to collect all the presents and place on a leaderboard, while Style Attack challenges players to score as many style points as possible within a time limit. A selection of rules and modifiers, such as low gravity, big heads and higher speed, lets players adjust how matches play.
