Zodiac Mountain
Zodiac Mountain puts you in the paws of a young panda climbing through Ancient China, taking on legendary creatures and folklore-inspired bosses on the way to becoming a Chinese Zodiac. It’s a deckbuilder, but with a proper twist: you’re playing with two hands at once, Yin and Yang, and figuring out how to combo cards across both is where all the fun comes from.
We really like how tactical it gets. The dynamic turn queue shows you what enemies are planning before they do it, so every fight turns into a proper puzzle of reading, reacting and building the right combo at the right moment. Mix that with relics, upgrades and procedurally generated climbs, and no two runs play out the same way.
On top of that, the whole thing looks gorgeous. It’s all hand-drawn in a style inspired by traditional Chinese ink painting, and the mythical enemies and ever-shifting mountain routes make exploring it just as satisfying as beating it.
