AIGENROBO

AIGENROBO is a 3D arena robot shooter built around a machine the player puts together from five slots. The Core determines HP, armour and poise, the Legs govern walking speed, dashing and jump height, and three weapon slots hold a Gun, a Bomb and a Pod. There are 308 parts in total, with between 61 and 64 available per slot. Machines can be further adjusted on three axes, Poise, Output and Stride, where increasing one reduces another, and paint can be applied to each slot separately. Defeated machines drop parts across six rarity tiers from Common to Mythic, and parts can be bought, upgraded and sold between fights.

Air dashes and the Assault Boost share a single boost tank that only refills once the machine lands. Jumping during an Assault Boost performs a Boost Kick that unbalances the target, and a machine whose poise gauge fills suffers a Break and is temporarily unable to move. The campaign contains 36 missions across ten arenas, seven of which feature destructible cover and one of which has moving lifts. A further sixteen Deep Trial missions each end with a boss, and four Next Trial missions each award a hidden part, for 56 missions overall. There are twenty bosses, which can also be fought consecutively in a timed Boss Rush. Completing the campaign unlocks a harder remix of cleared missions and an endless Endurance Trial. Boss times, Boss Rush totals and Endurance Trial waves are recorded on Steam leaderboards. A practice room offers stationary, moving or hostile opponents with no time limit, alongside a checklist that introduces the controls.

Offline, the Arena mode pits the player against three CPU machines in a free-for-all or a 2v2 team battle. Online play over Steam supports up to four players in Versus Arena, where CPUs fill empty places and players can join matches already under way, and in Co-op Mission, where the group faces any of the twenty bosses with enemy health adjusted to the number of players. In online matches the host uses their own machine while others use a prepared one, and co-op part rewards go only to the host. Rooms can be public, friends only or invite only, and voice chat is available but disabled by default. The setting follows the AIGEN Project, in which a central intelligence called AI CORE produces combat robots and sends them to fight in an arena known as the Holosseum, with the player as one of many test units. The interface and mission text are available in ten languages, and the English-speaking mission operator has a choice of two voices with subtitles in all ten.
