Arcaneering: Beyond Automation

Arcaneering: Beyond Automation is a factory building game that combines production line automation with magic. Players design manufacturing chains in which spells can boost efficiency, Mana powers machines, and mystical recipes open up production methods not available through conventional means.

The game is set in forgotten lands containing resources and hidden secrets. Ancient fortifications stand between the player and valuable resources or rare discoveries, so progress depends on developing more sophisticated weapons and magical capabilities to break through and claim new territory. Along the way, players can find treasure chests holding secret recipes or spells, trade with travelling merchants for exclusive technologies, and grow Mana trees for rewards. Factories must be adapted to each world’s geography and resource distribution.

Progression is handled through technology and skill trees with more than 275 research nodes. Players can concentrate on automation efficiency, lean into arcane methods, or combine the two. Worlds are procedurally generated, so each playthrough presents different layouts and different routes through the research options.
