BALL x PIT
Ballbylon’s gone, smashed to bits by a meteor, and all that’s left is a massive pit crawling with monsters. Naturally, treasure hunters (that’s you) are diving straight in. BALL x PIT is a fast paced roguelite where your weapon of choice is, well, balls, and you’re chucking loads of them at increasingly weird and nasty creatures as you go deeper and deeper.
The real hook here is the fusion system. There’s over 60 different balls to collect and combine, and the amount of daft, overpowered combos you can stumble into is brilliant. You’ll be building New Ballbylon between runs too, with more than 70 buildings to unlock that give you bonuses, new characters, and ways to keep resources flowing even when you’re not actively playing.
As you push further into the pit you’ll pick up fellow hunters along the way, each with their own quirks that genuinely change how you approach a run. Add in a handful of distinct realms, from frozen caves to nasty deserts, each stuffed with their own hazards and boss fights, and you’ve got a roguelite that keeps throwing new ideas at you long after you think you’ve seen it all.
