Cosmodrill
Cosmodrill drops you into a proper space mining adventure. After triggering some mysterious alien mechanism during a routine job, you get zapped off to an unknown star system, and now it’s on you to follow the emergency signals, take down hostile ships and figure out what’s buried deep inside these planets.
The core of it all is drilling. You’ll burrow through entire planets and asteroids hunting for resources, and the deeper you go the rarer (and more dangerous) things get. Everything you dig up feeds back into upgrading your drill, letting you fly further, dig deeper and survive the nastier stuff waiting further out in space.
There’s a good variety of biomes to work through too, from molten lava worlds with erupting volcanoes to asteroid fields crackling with plasma, each with their own wildlife and hazards. On top of the exploring and mining, you’ll be using that drill as a weapon as well, taking on enemies and liberating space stations that pirates have taken over. It’s a solid few hours of digging, upgrading and uncovering secrets, with extra mission content to dive into once the main story wraps up.
