BLIND SPOT
BLIND SPOT places the player in the role of a new Night Auditor at Facility 09, a multi-storey parking structure. The player drives through each floor of the building, compares its current state against the previous cycle, and then files one of two declarations at an in-world audit terminal: either report an irregularity or declare the floor clear. A correct call allows progress to the next floor, while an incorrect one restarts the night. A voiced Dispatch character speaks to the player over the radio throughout, offering situational commentary.
The game is built around observation and memory rather than reaction speed. Irregularities are drawn at random from a pool of nearly one hundred and can include a vehicle that was not present before, signage pointing the wrong way, subtly altered lighting, or a staff member standing in an unexpected place. Some shifts also include facility-wide events such as power failures, lighting overloads and changed environmental conditions, which alter the rules mid-shift but are not themselves classed as reportable irregularities. The game features an adaptive score, Normal and Hard difficulty settings, and full controller support.
A complete audit takes roughly two hours, with the randomised irregularities and additional Dispatch dialogue intended to differentiate repeat runs. The developer describes the game as a solo project, with the facility, driving, audio, writing and anomalies all created by one person. It is localised into eight languages: English, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese.
