Breezy Blooms

Breezy Blooms is a sliding grid puzzle game about directing the breeze so that seeds reach the flower beds where they can bloom. The player selects up, down, left or right, and every seed on the grid moves in that direction at the same time. Because all seeds share each move, one may come to rest against a rock while another arrives at its flower bed, so each move needs to be considered across the whole landscape. There is no time pressure, and the game is presented as something to be played at the player’s own pace.

The puzzles are built around several types of obstacle and terrain. Rocks are fixed and block movement. Puddles hold a seed in place until the next breeze. Spider webs trap seeds, and wind paths alter the direction a seed is travelling. Connected tunnels transport seeds to other parts of the grid. Some routes are blocked by vines, which can be cleared by moving a sawleaf into them on the correct turn.

Each trail is completed by guiding the seeds to their beds, and a new flower is introduced on every trail. Breezy Blooms has now moved from development to a released state.
