BuGarden is an idle desktop gardening game that sits in the corner of your screen, where you plant seeds, tend flowers and are joined by a snail companion while you work or study.

BuGarden is an idle gardening game designed to run as a desktop companion, occupying a small corner of the screen. Players plant seeds and watch them bloom gradually while carrying on with other tasks such as work or study. The game is accompanied by a small snail character with a customisable shell.

The core mechanics involve nourishing seeds with water and fertiliser. If the player does not want to tend the garden manually, the snail can water the plants instead. As the garden develops, new seeds, tools and desktop decorations become available to unlock.

The game includes a distraction-free mode which hides the interface elements with a single click, leaving only the flowers visible on screen. There are no timers, stress mechanics or fail states.
