DIG Raiders: Anomaly Extraction

DIG Raiders: Anomaly Extraction is a mining adventure that can be played solo or in co-operative multiplayer, combining exploration, extraction and encounters with aliens. The premise follows a contractor who has taken on significant debt to buy a plot of land above the site where an alien spacecraft crashed underground. The aim is to dig for buried treasure in order to pay off that debt.

Players use pickaxes and explosives to work their way through nine underground levels, searching for aliens and hidden valuables. Aliens can be tased and put to work, including carrying heavy loads. Loot collected during runs is used to upgrade equipment and unlock additional playable characters. Seven animal suits are available, each granting different stat bonuses such as increased movement speed, health or damage.

The game includes a story mode for one to four players in co-op, built around quests with comedic elements, as well as a 4v4 competitive mode in which teams race to extract treasure. Outside the mines, players can manage an Industrial Zone where aliens produce resources and automated assembly lines can be built, and use gathered resources to construct an Entertainment Street. The game has received more than 100 reviews on Steam.
