Castronauts

Castronauts is an online co-op fishing game that combines platforming with proximity voice chat. Players take the role of Castronauts, also described as Outer Space Angler characters, who are trapped on a mysterious spaceship in an unknown solar system. The game can be played solo or with up to five friends, for a total of six players. Each group travels to uncharted planets to catch fish requested by an anonymous collector called the Aquarian.

On each trip, players navigate the depths of a planet and must extract the requested amount of fish before the day ends and the planet collapses. The environments are toxic and contain obstacles, hazards and alien monsters, so players need to avoid these while bringing their catch back to the ship. Items can be found during the trips, and players can craft or buy items to fight back against creatures. A skill tree allows upgrades to specific stats to improve the chance of survival.

Listed features include three procedurally generated planets, alien enemies, environmental hazards, skill tree upgrades and item crafting. The game also includes a fish encyclopedia, an aquarium collection and character customisation.
