Castronauts

Castronauts is an online co-op fishing game that combines angling with platforming and proximity voice chat. Players take on the role of a Castronaut, a spacefaring angler trapped aboard a mysterious ship in an unknown solar system. Working alone or in a group of up to six, players travel to uncharted planets to catch fish on behalf of an anonymous collector known as the Aquarian.

Each trip involves exploring one of three procedurally generated planets and extracting the requested quantity of fish before the day ends and the planet collapses. The environments are toxic and populated by alien creatures and other hazards, so players must avoid threats while transporting their catch back to the ship.

Items can be found during expeditions and either crafted or purchased, giving players a means to fight back against creatures. A skill tree allows specific stats to be upgraded to improve survival chances. The game also includes a fish encyclopedia, an aquarium collection and character customisation.
