CoAnnCo

CoAnnCo is a cooperative puzzle platformer designed for four players. Each player controls a rice ball character, and the obstacles are built so that they can only be cleared when all four work together. Players step on one another, time their jumps and combine efforts to move past heavy obstacles. The game uses physics-based movement, so accidentally pushing or dropping a teammate off a cliff is a regular part of play.

The game has 15 stages with varied themes, and each introduces new rules and gimmicks beyond basic running and jumping. Puzzles are solved through the positions and movements of the four characters. The controls are described as simple, while the puzzles call for a high degree of cooperation between players.

Two modes are available. In Story Mode, progress is saved after each stage is cleared, and players can replay any completed stage. In Speedrun Mode, a timer is shown at the top of the screen and players aim to clear all stages as quickly as possible. Progress is not saved during a speedrun, and a record is only completed once every stage has been cleared.
