Custom Corner

Custom Corner is developed by a two-person indie team who are a couple. It is designed to run in the background while the player works, studies or relaxes. The player builds an isometric room from scratch, with the aim of creating a personal space on the desktop.

Room customisation uses more than 325 pixel items, including wallpapers, floorings, plants and PC cases. An in-game clock system changes the room’s lighting according to the time of day, so the room takes on a warmer glow in the evening. The game also works as a desktop companion, with a Focus Timer, a To-Do list and a notes function. The widgets can be recoloured with different colour themes.

Audio consists of selected Lo-Fi music and background sounds. The music player can be decorated with stickers and charms. The developers state that they plan to keep developing the game, and they invite players to join a Discord community to contribute ideas and feedback.
