Moon Swarm

Moon Swarm is an idle auto-battler designed to run in a small window in the corner of the screen while the player works, browses or plays other games. The objective is to defend a moon against continuous waves of alien creatures using automated defensive guns. The game has one DLC item available on Steam.

Players place defensive weapons that fire automatically at incoming enemies. Gold is collected from defeated aliens and spent on upgrades to attributes such as damage, fire rate and range. As the waves become more dangerous, players are expected to adjust their setup and strengthen their defences. New weapons can be unlocked over time, each with different strengths, allowing for different combinations and playstyles.

Surviving waves lets the player travel to new planets, each introducing different enemies, environments and challenges. The game can be played actively, with the player monitoring the action and upgrading when needed, or passively, letting the defences operate while attention is elsewhere.
