DualVerse86 is a 2D platforming game set in a retro-futuristic style, built around fast-paced parkour and time-based challenges. Each level requires players to navigate obstacles and traps by switching in real time between two parallel worlds, using this mechanic to find safe paths across platforms.

Progress is tied to collecting floppy disks scattered throughout levels, which unlock further stages. Levels are timed, with medals awarded based on completion speed, and each includes hidden secrets to find. The game does not include combat, with gameplay centred entirely on movement, timing and precision.

The visual style draws on 1990s aesthetics, paired with a synthwave soundtrack intended to reinforce an 80s atmosphere throughout the game.
