Echo Point Nova

Echo Point Nova is a first-person shooter set in a seamless open world, developed by the team behind Severed Steel. Players take on the role of an explorer with strong combat abilities who crash-lands on a planet controlled by a mercenary force using ancient technology to build weapons. The game can be played through a main quest line to dismantle the mercenary operation, or explored freely at the player’s own pace.

Movement and traversal are built around a grapple hook, a hoverboard, and a range of unlockable powers, allowing players to reach distant areas of the map. Combat includes encounters with varied enemy types, such as pyromancers, sappers who plant turrets, and helicopters that attack with rockets, as well as large-scale battles against colossal bosses found during the main quest or general exploration.

The game supports both solo and cooperative play for up to four players, using the same save file regardless of mode, with individual difficulty settings adjustable within a shared session. Co-op is available only through Steam Friends invites, without random matchmaking. Additional features include hidden weapons, character upgrades, cosmetic items, agility orbs that improve mobility, and weapon attachments unlocked through kills. The game offers adjustable settings to accommodate different levels of difficulty, and the developers have stated plans for ongoing post-launch content and updates.
