Ertugrul of Ulukayin

Ertugrul of Ulukayin is a 3rd person action-adventure game set during the Turkish medieval era, taking place in and around the landscape of Ahlat. Players explore historical landmarks, interact with neighbouring tribes, and follow a story involving a secret order seeking to corrupt the land, conflict with Mongol forces, and encounters with creatures drawn from Turkish mythology.

The game is played across three characters, Ertugrul, Turgut and Meryem, each with distinct weapons and combat styles. All three characters can be upgraded to develop their skills and combat abilities as the story progresses. Gameplay includes crafting, hunting, battling enemies, and exploring the surrounding tribal areas, with mechanics evolving across the game’s chapters.

A recurring feature is the inclusion of dream sequences, which draw on Turkish mythology and can provide clues or messages relevant to the main storyline, while also carrying the risk of turning into nightmares. The narrative follows efforts to restore order to a land affected by conflict and corruption, including a search for a lost brother, alongside tasks such as protecting people, strengthening the player’s Oba (tribal community), and confronting the forces responsible for the unrest.
