False Alarm
False Alarm puts you in the shoes of a thief for hire, breaking into heavily guarded buildings to steal whatever your clients are after. Offices, hotels, museums, you name it, they’ve all got security to dodge and a target to snatch on your way out.
The fun’s all in how you get past the guards. Turn off the lights to blind them, set off the photocopier to lure them over, or brew a pot of coffee that’s just too tempting to ignore. You can chain distractions together to shepherd security exactly where you want them, though you’ll want to stay hidden while you do it. Get spotted and things go south fast.
If sneaking about isn’t cutting it, you’re free to get a bit more hands on. The environment’s full of ways to cause chaos, from icy floors that send enemies sliding to microwaves that really shouldn’t have certain things put in them. Every level’s got multiple routes through, proper hiding spots, and an AI that actually reacts to noise, alert levels, and finding their mates knocked out cold. It’s a thinking person’s heist game with just enough room to improvise when your plan falls apart.
