Ghoul Fright
Ghoul Fright is a wave-based survival game in which players fight off waves of cartoony ghouls, including zombies and mafia-style skeletons. The game is won by surviving ten waves, with difficulty increasing as the waves progress. Cursed waves introduce additional challenges. It can be played alone or in co-op with up to four players, and includes an in-game text chat as well as proximity voice chat with cartoon-style effects.
Combat is fully physical and based on bare-knuckle fighting, with ragdoll physics and parries. Players can use simple punches, heavy charges and grabs, and the environment is destructible with procedural chunks. Props can be picked up and used as weapons, enemies can be launched with heavy attacks and then stomped, and downed players are revived by slapping them. Because objects can be used as weapons, players are also able to harm one another with items such as chairs.
Progression is handled through a levelling and experience system. Each survivor has four unique skills and more than 62 talents with varied effects, allowing for custom builds. Upgrades can be bought from the Fright Shop, and equipment is managed through the Fright Gear screen.
