King Assassination
King Assassination is a multiplayer deception and action game built around a single objective: one team protects the King while the other tries to kill him. Players are split into Guards and Assassins, with Kings travelling through the kingdom along set routes while both sides operate around them. Because Assassins are hidden among other players, Guards cannot be certain who is a threat, and an innocent-looking player may turn out to be an enemy.
Guards are tasked with staying close to the King, watching the crowd, investigating suspicious players and using their own abilities to keep him alive and moving. They can also heal wounded teammates. There is a penalty for carelessness: a Guard who kills too many innocent players becomes a threat in their own right. Assassins, by contrast, must blend into the crowd and wait for an opening, as they can only eliminate targets from behind. This makes positioning, patience and coordination between Assassins central to how they play.
A match ends once the objective is decided. Assassins win by eliminating the required number of Kings, eliminating all Guards, or completing their team objective. Guards win by protecting the required Kings, eliminating all Assassins, or completing their own team objective. A match can also conclude when the last King reaches the destination.
