Lazy River

Lazy River is a co-operative first person shooter set at Water Station One, a waterpark connected by an infinite lazy river. A contamination in the park’s water supply has turned the guests into zombies, and players must construct a raft and navigate the river to reach the other end of the park and escape.

Players collect innertubes to assemble a raft, which can be upgraded with walls, sails and engines. The raft is physically simulated, so its weight and balance affect how it handles on the water. Zombies in the park explode when exposed to enough water, and players can find squirt guns and water balloons to use as weapons, upgrading squirt guns into sniper rifles or rapid fire guns, or using pool noodles as melee weapons.

Survival elements include scavenging for ingredients to cook food such as tater tots, corn dogs, burgers and onion rings. The park is guarded by robotic security squads that set up blockades and defences along the river, which can damage the raft or shoot out its innertubes if approached too closely. Triggering the park’s alarm system activates a self-clean cycle intended to destroy all organic life in the area. The game is currently available in early access and has no user reviews on Steam.
