Ling House: Echoes Within

Ling House: Echoes Within casts the player as a person trapped inside a new home. After regaining consciousness, the character’s memories are disordered. The house is presented as a living entity that reacts to the player’s presence rather than a fixed haunted setting. Time and space shift and warp, and fragmented memories gradually connect to reveal a disturbing truth.

The player must piece together what happened by moving through scenes from the past, present and future. Gameplay involves observing illogical anomalies that do not belong to the normal world. The player also uses items of unknown origin to reveal secrets that cannot be seen with the naked eye. A video camera is part of the experience and displays images that have no clear explanation.

As events progress, apparent supernatural hallucinations become more concrete, and malevolent spirits become entangled with the character’s deteriorating sanity. The player is left to decide whether escaping the house or recovering the violent memories linked to it matters more.
