Lucky Break

Lucky Break is a roguelike deckbuilder that combines themes of addiction, horror and gambling. The game takes place in a dive bar, where the player takes the role of an addict who must clear their gambling debts by using a cursed slot machine. Failing to pay the debts can result in the loss of the character’s fingers.

The core gameplay centres on spinning the slot machine. After every spin, the player chooses new symbols, building up the machine in a manner similar to a deckbuilder. Jackpots can be won during play, and the player can also buy drinks at the bar to improve their odds.

Players can talk to the mobsters who are collecting the debts, and must try to stay safe from them while playing. The game includes multiple endings, which depend on whether the player survives.
