Inspired by games like "Papers, Please" and "VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action", this is "Moon Reader".

Welcome to "Luz Eterna", a neo-futuristic moon colony settled on the rim of the Shackleton Crater. Here, the sun never sets, casting long shadows over a broken society. From Citizens living in Utopian districts above an artificial Sea, to immigrants struggling in the pressurized depths below, everyone has questions about their future.

And you are the one who gives them.

You are a Fortune Teller in a world where magic is nothing but entertainment for the ignorance, however information is always king. You don’t have "Foresight" you have MACHI, a borderline-illegal(just borderline?) AI created by your deceased father. While you shuffle the deck, MACHI scrapes the bio-metrics of your clients, financial history, private logs and any information it can get.

It is your job to synthesize this "borrowed" information into a "mystical" reading. Will you be a light of hope in a broken society, or a charlatan exploiting the desperate to pay your own debts?

INFORMATION IS YOUR MAGIC

There is no mysticism. Use your AI companion and your client’s bio-metrics to scrape their history. Use "MACHI to match" your clients information and choose to advice them into a better life or manipulate their beliefs for your own benefit.

MANAGE YOUR REPUTATION

Your clients talk. The accuracy and nature of your readings make  Reviews, which directly impact your game. High ratings attract better clients. However, you may not serve everyone, control who sits at your table and remember, you can’t please everyone.

SURVIVE THE COLONY

Living in the moon is not cheap. You must balance your time and money to pay rent, clear your debts, keep your work up to quality and relations that would either help you and your loved one’s live a better life, or bring you down to your end.
