Mythic Battle

Mythic Battle is a competitive game for up to eight players in which characters from mythological stories fight one another in a free-for-all format. Each player’s strategy is shaped by the contents of their shop and by the opponents they face. Matches can be played against bots or against other people online, and there are single player battles with varying difficulty for offline play. Online multiplayer matches are ranked on a leader board.

Players can upgrade their shop, which raises the quality of the cards on offer. Each upgrade involves a choice between options, such as improving the player’s board immediately, increasing the chance of seeing specific cards, or improving the minions that appear in the shop for the rest of the match. Higher shop levels also provide better options when minions are combined.

Collecting three copies of the same card combines them and lets the player pick a Mythic Effect. The combined card becomes a stronger version of the originals and can be customised further, with options including Attack, Stealth or Taunt. The game also includes special events that change the rules of multiplayer matches. The current event features the Greek pantheon: players can pay Charon to return dead cards to life, Ares strengthens cards for every kill, Hermes provides spells, and Hephaestus offers large improvements to cards.
