Nomori

Nomori is a puzzle game set in a spirit world in trouble. The player takes the role of Kiko, a curious girl who finds herself stuck there. Along the way she meets a cast of characters who encourage her to view the world, and herself, from new perspectives. By helping the Spirits, Kiko may find a way to heal Nomori and return home.

The central mechanic involves placing, shifting, and rotating portals to change the direction of the surrounding environment, so that any surface can become a floor. Players can also alter the gravity direction of other objects to solve a range of puzzles. The game uses a physics-based world in which gravity and timing both matter, and Spirit Powers can be combined to get past obstacles in different ways.

Levels can be explored freely, with rewards placed around the environment. The game is split across four seasonal domains, each of which adds new variations to the mechanics introduced earlier. As the player progresses, they meet and reunite the Spirits of Nomori and gradually gain greater command of their magical abilities. One new DLC item has recently been added on Steam.
