Nomori

Nomori is a physics-based environmental puzzle game. Players take the role of Kiko, a curious girl who finds herself stuck in a spirit world that is in trouble. Over the course of the game she meets a cast of Spirits, bonds with them, and gains abilities that allow her to see past the ordinary limits of her surroundings in order to save Nomori.

The central mechanic involves placing, shifting and rotating portals to change the direction of gravity for objects and for Kiko herself, allowing any surface to act as a floor. Alongside this, Kiko gains Spirit Powers that let her control the flow of time and rotate gravitational forces. These abilities can be combined to produce different outcomes, and puzzles are designed to allow more than one approach to a solution. Exploration is encouraged, with additional discoveries available to players who search their surroundings thoroughly.

The world is divided into four domains, each based on a different season and each with its own environment, puzzle mechanics and set of Spirits. Progress involves reconnecting the shattered islands of the Spirit World, and previously visited levels can be revisited with newly acquired Spirit Powers to navigate them in new ways.
