Build your home on the back of a living beast and carry it across the world as you fight, gather, and loot your way through a handcrafted RPG.

Notmads is one of those ideas that sounds mad until you’re actually playing it, which we suppose fits the name. Your home lives on the back of a massive beast that wanders the world with you, and you build straight onto its back. Stations, defenses, magical bits and bobs, all stacked onto a creature that just keeps walking. You can stick close to it or wander off on your own, and it’ll always catch up when you need it.

Combat and gathering both lean into the magic angle rather than giving you an axe and a pickaxe. You pull resources in with a Magical Beam that levels up over time, and you fight using whatever mix of fire, frost, lightning, arcane or physical power suits you. Nothing locks you into one build, so you can specialise or mash styles together and see what sticks.

The world itself is handcrafted rather than generated, so exploring towns, caves and camps actually feels like there’s someone behind the design choices. You can play the whole thing solo or bring up to four friends along, all sharing the same beast, the same base, and the same slow crawl across the map.
