OBITT Escape from the room

OBITT Escape from the Room is an escape-action game by another developer. The player character shrinks to the size of a sprite inside a mysterious shrine and becomes lost in an unusual, otherworldly room. The objective is to explore the space, learn its layout through trial and error, and find the exit that leads back to reality.

The game centres on exploration, precision and quick decisions. Mistakes can be fatal, and moving through the room carelessly reduces the player’s HP, so managing health is part of survival. Knowledge of the room’s layout builds up over repeated attempts.

A built-in timer is included for players who want to keep going after a first escape. It can be used to refine routes and movements and to try to complete the room more quickly. The room can otherwise be tackled at the player’s own pace.
