Put Back Stuff
Put Back Stuff is an organisation game about tidying cluttered spaces. Players pick up misplaced items, work out which category they belong to and place them back on shelves however they see fit within that category. There is no timer, and the developer describes the pace as entirely up to the player. Progress is shown visually as shelves fill and the floor beneath the mess is gradually uncovered.
The main level is an Australian supermarket containing more than 5,000 placeable items across over 300 shelves. Products are sorted into their correct departments and grouped with matching items, and the level includes local products and hidden lost property collectibles to find. A second level set in a craft store is in development, featuring more than 2,000 items including paint, yarn and fabrics. The developer states that the game is theme neutral and that further levels across different themes are planned.
Coins earned while restoring levels can be spent in a skill system to unlock and improve abilities, such as summoning missing objects, running faster, locating the correct shelf for an item and carrying more at once. Players can place up to 100 sticky notes per level on any surface for planning or note-taking, and can build a custom in-game playlist from the available soundtrack options. Accessibility features include colour blindness modes, motion sickness reduction settings, unlock toggles and fully rebindable controls. The game uses a low-poly art style with pixel art textures, is described as family friendly, and was made by a single artist and developer without the use of AI.
