Remote Gamepad
Remote Gamepad is a PC utility, now released, that turns a mobile phone into a game controller. It works with any PC game that supports game controllers, and the phone connects to the computer over either Wi-Fi or USB.
The app displays on-screen controls on the phone, arranged in a similar way to a physical game controller. The phone’s motion sensors can also be used, so the device can be rotated to act as a steering wheel in racing games. In addition, any game controller connected to the phone will have its button presses forwarded to the PC, which allows mobile controllers to be used with desktop games.
A layout editor is included for building custom controller layouts. Users can change the position, size, colour and shape of buttons, among other settings. Finished layouts can be shared with other users via a link.
