Revenge of the Savage Planet

Revenge of the Savage Planet is a first-person action-adventure game set after the player character is made redundant by a distant corporate employer and left stranded at the edge of space. The player must explore alien worlds, collect upgrades and gear, and work toward returning to Earth while uncovering the story behind their abandonment.

The game features movement mechanics including running, jumping, shooting, grinding, stomping, dodging, sliding, whipping and grappling. Players can experiment with three types of gameplay goo, scan plants and creatures, and lasso and capture creatures to store in pens near their habitat. Progress is tied to a science level system, which is increased by cataloguing discoveries and completing experiments, unlocking new gear and abilities.

The game includes four large planets to explore, each with distinct plants, creatures and environments, alongside hints of additional areas beyond the initial four. Collected items, creatures and gear can be displayed in a customisable Space Trailer. The game supports dynamic co-op play, allowing two players to team up across different platforms or on the same screen.
