Sewer is a survival horror game set beneath Arras in 1915, in which a British spy must find a way out of a procedurally generated sewer network while managing limited ammunition.

Sewer is a survival horror game set in 1915. The player takes the role of a British spy sent into a sewer network beneath Arras, in territory held by the enemy. The covert mission goes wrong, and the game follows the player’s attempt to escape the tunnels while confronting hostile creatures encountered in the dark.

The game is built around exploration and resource management. Levels are procedurally generated and, in the current version, draw on eight room types. Ammunition is scattered across the map and is in limited supply, so players need to search for it as they go. Crates can be broken open for supplies, and some routes are blocked until the player shoots a lever to open the way forward.

The Early Access build includes three weapons: a pistol, a shotgun and a submachine gun. Light sources are also part of the toolset, with a flashlight and glow sticks available to help the player see and navigate the tunnels. The developer describes the current content as reflecting the Early Access state of the game.
