Silky Rails

Silky Rails is set on the Silk Road, where the player builds and develops a train made up of different carts. At each station, waves of enemies close in on the locomotive, and the train has to hold out against them before the journey can continue. The game is now released on Steam, where it has a Positive user review rating.

Combat is handled automatically by the train. The player’s role is to acquire carts, decide where each one sits in the train, and manage the economy. Some arrangements of carts form layout combinations, which are discovered during play. Carts can be upgraded by merging three of the same type and level, producing a higher-tier version of that cart.

Alongside carts, players can find relics and traits that alter how the train fights and open up different strategies. The route also includes events where the player makes a choice, and these stops can lead to rewards, new opportunities or danger.
